Founder and Principal, Stuart Young, has over 40 years’ experience in Asia and has worked in 16 different countries. Through this experience, he has a deep understanding of different Asian cultures and working practices.

 

The first 20 years of his career were with a leading Australian Architectural Design Consultant, Denton Corker Marshall working on a variety of different building types including retail malls, offices, hotels and mixed-use developments. The second 20 years were initially with the LVMH Fashion Group and subsequently with Louis Vuitton. In this role he was responsible for managing the development of the complete Louis Vuitton retail network throughout Asia (excluding Japan).

 

During his career he has had the opportunity to collaborate with several world class architects including Barrie Marshall, Kohn Pederson Fox, John Pawson, Peter Marino, Jun Aoki and Frank Ghery. This design and project management experience coupled with an extensive exposure to the retail operations of the LVMH Group gives him a particular perspective and profile. He is both a Retailer and an Architect and this combination provides a unique viewpoint from which to add value to retail developments.
